Operating the menus
To use the buttons on the Multifunction Steering Wheel, MQB2PQ must be installed and configured.
All menus in CANFIS are operated using the buttons on the windshield wiper stalk.
A short press on the Up/Down button of the stalk changes the currently selected option.
By default, a long press on the Up/Down button selects an option.
On some clusters, this action activates the Auxiliary heating menu.
If you encounter this problem, take a look at the Configuration editor chapter. It explains how to change the control style, in order to select by using the Reset button.
From now on, "Select" will refer to holding Up/Down or holding Reset, depending on the configuration.
A short press of the Reset button always switches the mode of the cluster's screen, this cannot be disabled!
After switching the mode, press the button repeatedly until you return to CANFIS.
In menus where you can't see a button, you exit with Select.
